Let’s look at some functionality now that you know what kind of budget you’re working with.

Templates are essential for any auto-responder approach since they ensure that you can project a professional image for your company even if you’ve never coded before.

Finally, your choice between Get Response and Aweber templates is likely to be a personal one, but GetResponse is, in my opinion, the finest.

· When you select “Create Newsletter” from your dashboard, you have the option of using an HTML or drag-and-drop email editor.

· If you want to save time and effort, you’ll probably choose the “Drag and drop” email editor.

To put it another way, GetResponse can do the majority of the heavy lifting for you, or you can show off your coding prowess. Whatever is most effective.

If you want to save time and effort, you’ll probably choose the “Drag and drop” email editor.

This appears to offer you access to an infinite number of email templates. It’s probably only a few hundred, but have a look at all of these choices for filtering:

If you’re a nerd like me, you’ll be ecstatic!

For the most part, the templates available are appealing, clean, and modern-looking. There are a few in there that appear to be a little dated, but hey, you can’t win them all.

Plus, once you select a template, you can use the drag-and-drop builder to customise it to your liking.

So, how do Aweber’s templates compare to GetResponse’s?

You receive a slew of template alternatives this time, starting with some basic, bare-bones options for those who like to start from scratch.

However, I believe that as you go down to some of the more colourful selections, things begin to look a little old.

This is the type of thing you’d see in the early 2000s, not in 2019:

But, hey, I’ll take a break from them long enough to try out the drag-and-drop editor.

You can alter the background colours, fonts, and buttons once more.

However, I was unable to locate any alternatives for including social network links in this section.

Overall, Aweber offers a much more basic experience, which is frustrating.

Winner

GetResponse, in my opinion, has more templates to pick from that are more relevant to today’s email scene, as well as a more user-friendly drag-and-drop editor for editing. Aweber is functional, however it appears to be in severe need of an upgrade.

Aweber vs GetResponse: Which Is Easier To Use?

Since we’ve already discussed templates and email creation, let’s take a deeper look at how simple Aweber and GetResponse are to utilise.

After all, you want to feel at ease with whichever email programme you’re using.

From the minute you log in, Get Response provides basic functionality. After all, it aspires to be the world’s simplest email marketing platform.

GetResponse

Creating your list is as easy as loading a CSV file or manually typing the addresses you want to include.

Furthermore, the dashboard is far more feature-rich than Aweber’s. That makes sense when you consider GetResponse’s evolution to become much more than a “email marketing” solution.

Not only do you have more alternatives to choose from, but your UI is also more organised. I despise feeling overwhelmed when I log onto an email dashboard. An avalanche of buttons and data has descended upon me.

With GetResponse, you simply don’t get that.

What’s better?

From the moment you log in, the simple “Quick Actions” on the home page are a great way to start composing emails and setting up marketing automation tools.

You won’t have to sift through a navigation panel to find the tools you need.

Aweber

When you initially log in to Aweber, it’s also a basic enough process.

You can either manually add people to your list or import a CSV file to access contacts in bulk.

Let’s face it, who wants to spend hours manually typing emails?

Managing subscribers is also a breeze. You may even personalise the confirmation email that your consumers receive when they sign up for your services.

If you want to use double opt-in to keep your email list clean, this is fantastic.

The Aweber interface, like GetResponse’s, is simple to use.

The homepage includes some basic information about your subscribers, as well as information about previously sent “broadcasts” (newsletters).

It’s not nearly as feature-rich as GetResponse, but it’s clear and straightforward, which is exactly how I like my email marketing tools (and my guys) to be

Winner

GetResponse, in my perspective, lives up to its claims of being the easiest email marketing platform.

I really like how simple and straightforward the user interface is.

Additionally, the Quick Actions options are ideal for times you need to get started quickly.

It was nice that I didn’t have to waste time looking for tools because I don’t have a lot of patience.
