GetResponse vs Aweber: Autoresponders

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of email marketing.

Autoresponders, as you may be aware, are emails that are sent automatically to subscribers at pre-determined intervals.

For example, 10 seconds after someone signs up for your page, you may send a welcome message, followed by a marketing message 10 days later.

Both Aweber and GetResponse have excellent autoresponder features.

You can send newsletters and broadcasts based on your most important triggers.

GetResponse, on the other hand, in my opinion, gives a far superior autoresponder experience, and here’s why.

First and foremost, setting up an Autoresponder is a breeze.

All you have to do is click “Create an autoresponder” and choose when you want your emails to be sent.

You can also create “auto funnels” once you’ve begun building autoresponders.

These are email drip sequences that you can use to sell items, grow an email list, and more when connected with landing sites and sign-up pages.

GetResponse

The more you learn about Get Response’s automated email marketing solutions, the more you learn about how to create automation flowcharts, unique drip campaigns, and more.

You can drag and drop your entire email campaign into existence, telling GetResponse what to do when a user clicks a link, reads an email, or does something else.

The following are examples of triggers:

· Clicks on a link in an email

· Purchases of Products

· Carts that have been abandoned

· Visited URLs

There are also a number of pre-made templates to help you get started based on your objectives

Once you’ve selected a model, such as this consent-based welcome template, you may customize it by adding conditions, actions, and tags.

That means you may personalize subscriptions in a variety of ways based on how they interact with you.

GetResponse functionality

Aweber isn’t even close in comparison.

First and foremost, finding an autoresponder was challenging in the first place.

Probably because it’s referred to as a “Follow up Series”:

The drag-and-drop functionality for creating autoresponders is fantastic, but it doesn’t feel quite as advanced as GetResponse’s possibilities.

· The method isn’t as advanced or as visually appealing. You also won’t be able to go as in-depth with your drip campaign. With GetResponse, for example, you may send an email to people who have added items to their cart, reminding them that something is waiting for them.

· You may simply send basic messages to keep your audience connected with Aweber. There’s less marketing and more nurturing.

· Now, if you’re simply searching for a technique to keep your audience engaged, that’s OK.

GetResponse, on the other hand, allows you the ability to communicate with and nurture your consumers, increasing your chances of a sale.

That, in my perspective, is excellent value for money.

Winner

With its autoresponder and marketing automation features, GetResponse comes out on top.
With the tools, you can get a lot more done and target a wider range of clients to boost your conversion rates.

Plus, the funnel-building tactics’ approach appeals to me more.

Active Campaign is difficult to top for a more impressive autoresponder technique.

A/B Testing Aweber vs GetResponse

How well do you understand your target market?

Even if you think you have your finger on the pulse, you’ll probably need to do some split testing to figure out what resonates with each of your clients.

A/B testing is how you can tell which emails are great and which aren’t.

GetResponse

GetResponse lets you test up to five different versions of each email. So there’s A/B/C/D/E testing…

To ensure that you’re getting the proper response from your audience, you can adjust your subject line, content, from field, and delivery time.

You can also track the performance of up to 5 messages at once once you’ve decided what you want to test.

On your UI, you’ll be able to track the success of your campaigns.

Aweber

Aweber, on the other hand, allows you to compare up to three different newsletter variations.

That’s still quite decent for a basic email marketing tool, but it’s nowhere near GetResponse.

One of the coolest features is that you can choose how many of your subscribers will receive each email variety.

That implies you don’t have to run a 50/50 test if you merely want to test a very radical new campaign on a small group of subscribers.

Plus, because all of the details appear on your UI site, tracking your split testing is simple.

Furthermore, though you can only compare three emails at a time (two fewer than GetResponse, you may test a variety of features, such as body copy, call-to-action location, the time you send the message, and pre-header content.

In other words, while Aweber might not allow you to test as many possibilities at once, it does provide you with additional options to consider when creating the perfect email.

Winner

Although GetResponse wins by allowing you more emails to test at once, Aweber has additional features for analysing the impact of your CTA button, gifs, photos, and other elements.

With that in mind, I’d say Aweber is the clear winner.

GetResponse vs. Aweber: Analytics

Email analytics is the next step after A/B testing.

In the morning, I enjoy the smell of fresh data — how about you?

Click rates, open rates, unsubscribe rates, and other metrics are all available in Aweber and GetResponse’s reporting tools.

GetResponse

The ease with which you can explore your reports and analytics is maybe GetResponse’s most enticing feature.

You may look at everything from autoresponders to marketing automation and get detailed analytics for each campaign.

GetResponse enables tracking everything from open rates to targets achieved, CTRs, and much more a breeze.

You can even see what kind of device your consumers are using to view their emails to see if mobile marketing is something you should pursue more aggressively.

GetResponse also offers tracking codes to let you track the amount of sign-ups, transactions, and visits that come from a link in your email campaigns.

Aweber

Oh, and there’s also one-click segmentation, which allows you to build sub-segments based on who opens your emails the most or who doesn’t open them at all.

This makes cleaning up your to-do list a lot easier.
Aweber, on the other hand, has a substantial number of reports to choose from.

However, Google Analytics connection is not available with Aweber but is available with GetResponse.

As a result, you won’t be able to link your SEO statistics with your email marketing campaigns.

Aweber, on the other hand, makes analytics extremely straightforward and intuitive.

You can see how many people open your emails, who your most valuable customers are, and which emails bring in the most money.

Aweber, like GetResponse, allows you to segment your audience based on how they responded to an email campaign.

Winner

GetResponse is just a hair ahead of Aweber in this category, thanks to its user-friendly reporting interface and the ability to interface with Google Analytics.

Aweber, on the other hand, isn’t far behind.

GetResponse vs. Aweber: Segmentation

Now we’ve arrived at the major reason I’d prefer GetResponse to Aweber.

While all of these platforms make it simple to create segments for your subscribers, GetResponse makes sending truly tailored messages so much easier.

This is the closest you’ll come to the chats that shop owners have with their customers at mom and pop shops.

· If you have a mailing list of automobile owners segregated by colour and another list of people who also own motorbikes, you could develop a list based on persons over the age of 35 who joined your list in the last month using GetResponse.

· All you have to do now is check the boxes next to the relevant segments on your list and send.

Aweber

· If you tried to do the same thing with Aweber, you’d have to create a new segment every time you wanted to send an email to someone who owns a blue automobile, individuals who joined in the previous month, or people who own green motorbikes. Overall, it’s just a lot more manual labour.

· If you want to avoid sending a specific message to a certain group of your audience, GetResponse makes it simple to remove segments from your list.

· You may exclude a whole list from a mail in Aweber, but not a segment.

GetResponse

A simple CRM tool is another segmentation option available in GetResponse but not in Aweber.

This is included in the Essential plan and allows you to track client activity, sales pipelines, and subscription journeys.

The customer relationship management tool, when linked to your autoresponders, makes it easier to design complex pipelines for your customers.

GetResponse Salesforce

GetResponse’s CRM isn’t quite as engaging as, say, Salesforce. You can’t track website activity, and there’s no way to keep track of your contacts’ deal history.

The CRM does make GetResponse stand out, though, because the ordinary email programme doesn’t come with this kind of capability built-in.

Winner

GetResponse makes it a lot easier to create the tailored email drip funnels you need to turn prospects into loyal clients.

On the other side, ActiveCampaign features some of the most complex email funnels available.
